If we are later approved for a specific offer, we may earn compensation when a visitor applies through a clearly identified link on our site. Compensation may affect how and where offers appear, and we do not include every card or offer.

Staxx Rewards is an independent educational publisher operated by Staxx Media, Inc. This disclosure explains how Staxx Rewards may earn compensation and how that compensation relates to the content and offers you see.

How Staxx Rewards may be compensated

Staxx Media may receive compensation when you click or use certain links, submit information to a third party, are approved for a product, open an account, or complete another qualifying action. The event that triggers compensation depends on the agreement connected with the particular link. Not every link or product is compensated.

Compensation does not change what you pay an issuer. It may affect which products or offers are available to Staxx Rewards and where or how prominently an offer appears. Staxx Rewards does not compare every card, issuer, or offer in the market. Offers from advertising partners may differ from offers available elsewhere.

How compensation relates to our work

Compensation may affect:

• Whether Staxx Rewards has access to a product or offer.

• Whether a tracked application or product link is available.

• Placement, ordering, or prominence of an offer.

• Whether a qualifying action can be attributed to Staxx Rewards.

Compensation does not determine:

• An issuer’s approval decision, pricing, credit limit, rewards, or account terms.

• What a visitor pays an issuer.

• The arithmetic used in our reward calculations.

• Whether fees, caps, exclusions, or restrictions are shown in our methodology.

• Whether stale or unverifiable information remains eligible for recommendation.

• Whether we correct a material error.

Disclosures near recommendations and links

A link to this page does not replace a clear disclosure near a compensated recommendation or action. Staxx Rewards should use a plain-language disclosure before or next to the relevant link or button, in a size and presentation users can notice on mobile and desktop before acting.

Standard disclosure

Use near comparison tables, recommendations, and application actions: “Staxx Rewards may receive compensation when you use certain links or complete a qualifying action. Compensation may affect offer placement; it does not change what you pay.”

Compact disclosure

Use immediately beside a compensated button when space is constrained: “We may receive compensation through this link. It does not change what you pay.”

Do not rely on “affiliate link,” “partner,” “commissionable link,” an icon, or a generic “Learn More” label by itself. Adapt the disclosure if the actual compensation event or a partner agreement requires more specific language.

Product scope and issuer control

An issuer controls product availability, applications, approval, pricing, credit limits, rewards, and account terms. Taking the Staxx Rewards quiz does not request a credit report. Applying for a card may authorize the issuer to obtain a credit report through a hard inquiry, which may affect your score. Review the issuer’s current official terms before applying.

Editorial safeguards

Compensated and uncompensated products are subject to the same published calculation methodology, product-review standards, responsible credit-card language, disclosure review, and correction process. Compensation may affect commercial placement or availability, but should not change reward math or prevent correction of an error.
